Introducing the "Delmarva Sheepdogs" -
A 12U Softball Team Honoring First Responder Families!
We are thrilled to announce the formation of the "Delmarva Sheepdogs" a new 12U softball team and non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and honoring the families of first responders. Our team is committed to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and community service, while also recognizing the bravery and sacrifices of our heroes in uniform. We also recognize the demanding lifestyle of first responders and balancing those with the demands of a travel team.
Our Mission:
The Delmarva Sheepdogs are more than just a softball team - we're a group of young athletes and their families coming together to make a difference. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for players to develop their skills, build lasting friendships, and give back to the community. We believe that by working together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of first responder families and show our appreciation for their selfless service.
Our Team:
Our team is open to girls aged 12 and under who are passionate about softball and committed to our mission. We're looking for players who are eager to learn, grow, and have fun while making a difference in their community. Our experienced coaching staff will provide top-notch instruction and guidance to help our players develop their skills and reach their full potential. You don’t have to be a first responder or a child of one to join our team. We’re open to anyone looking to be part of a close-knit community of first responders, corrections, military, nurses, teachers and more.
Supporting First Responder Families:
Throughout the season, the Delmarva Sheepdogs will participate in various community service projects and fundraising initiatives to support local first responder families. From hosting charity games and tournaments to organizing food drives and volunteer days, we're committed to giving back to those who serve and protect our communities.
